Prior to our transatlantic departure on 14MAY19, the Clipper Tabitha May and her crew will be operating along the eastern seaboard of the United States conducting practice approaches, working on crew coordination and generally assuring the readiness of our equipment and crew to manage the workload of the transatlantic journey.

We will update our schedule here on relatively short notice to enhance your opportunity to come meet the crew, grab that prize-winning photo or otherwise keep track of us using our public Flight Tracker page.

We are always happy to see kids on the flight-line and we are carry small gifts for kids big and small.  Come meet us and say hello.

This is expected to be one of the most challenging flying periods for the Clipper and Crew, with extended overwater operations and operations into remote locations that require special preparations and planning.

Most challenging is the fact that these operations must be conducted while being mindful that winds and weather failing to adhere to forecast conditions will play a significant role in enroute decision making.

During this period we will remain in touch with air traffic control and our home base via satellite communications and the public can keep track of our position in real time using our Flight Tracker page.

Daks Over Normandy is the organization to be credited with bringing together more than 40 C-47/DC-3 aircraft in support of the 75th anniversary of the Allied invasion of Normandy.  The Clipper and Crew will be based initially out of Duxford and the Imperial War Museum in support of these operations.

We will be involved in many flying displays, while also flying Media and VIP missions in support of the Daks Over Normandy organizers and the 75th anniversary celebrations, spending the second half of this period based out of Caen.

During this period, Clipper Tabitha May, NC33611 will be flying in support of the "Berlin Airlift 70th Anniversary" to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the commencement of Allied Forces Europe's efforts to support the population of Berlin during the Soviet blockade.

We are still firming up our schedule during this period.  We anticipate the Clipper will be present in Berlin on/around 15/16JUN, so please check back to keep up-to-date with the latest.*
